The Vishay Dale SMCG7.0CA-E3/57T is a TRANSZORB® Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for sensitive electronics protection. It features a low profile SMCG (DO-215AB) package suitable for automated placement.
This bidirectional TVS diode has a working voltage of 7V and a clamping voltage of 12V. It can handle a peak pulse power of 1500W (1.5kW) with a 10/1000µs waveform and a peak surge current of 200A for an 8.3ms single half sine-wave. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
Ideal for applications requiring protection against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting, this AEC-Q101 qualified component is suitable for consumer, computer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication systems. Its glass passivated chip junction ensures excellent clamping capability and a very fast response time.
The device is mounted using a surface mount technique and is compliant with RoHS standards.
