The Vishay Dale SMCG150A-E3/57T is a Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It is suitable for applications involving inductive load switching and lighting-induced transients on ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines in consumer, computer, industrial, automotive, and telecommunication systems.
This device offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500W with a 10/1000 μs waveform. It has a working voltage range of 5.0 V to 188 V and a breakdown voltage range of 6.40 V to 231 V. The clamping voltage at 10/1000 μs waveform is 243 V, and the peak pulse current is 6.2 A.
The TVS diode is housed in a SMCG (DO-215AB) package, ideal for automated placement with its surface mount capability. The operating and storage temperature range is -55°C to +150°C. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
