The Vishay Dale SMC5K48A-M3/H is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a peak pulse power rating of 5000W (10/1000 μs) and a 40 kW rating for an 8/20 μs waveform.
This TVS diode has a working voltage range of 10V to 85V and a breakdown voltage range from 11.1V to 104V. The clamping voltage is specified at 77.4V for a peak pulse current of 64.6A (10/1000 μs).
