The SMC30J10A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 10V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 11.1V. The maximum clamping voltage is 17V at the peak pulse current.
With a peak pulse power rating of 3000W (3kW) under 10/1000µs waveform, it can handle peak pulse currents up to 176A. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
The SMC30J10A is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, suitable for automated assembly. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). This TVS diode is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients in various applications.
