The Vishay Dale SMBJ85A-E3/52 is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode from the SMBJ series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
This unidirectional TVS diode offers a working voltage of 8.5V and a clamping voltage of 14.4V at 41.7A. It boasts a significant peak pulse power dissipation capability of 600W with a 10/1000 μs waveform. The device operates reliably across a wide temperature range from -55°C to 150°C (TJ).
