The SMBJ64A-13-F is a 600W surface mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It uses a Zener construction and provides unidirectional overvoltage protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 64V and a clamping voltage of 103V at a peak pulse current of 5.8A (10/1000µs waveform). The device is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) molded plastic case with UL94V-0 flammability rating and features matte tin terminations for lead-free soldering.
This TVS diode offers steady state power dissipation of 5.0W at +75°C lead temperature and peak forward surge current capability of 100A (8.3ms half sine wave) for unidirectional units. The operating junction temperature ranges from -55°C to 150°C, with storage temperature from -55°C to +175°C. It is rated as Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 (unlimited) per J-STD-020 and is both RoHS3 compliant and halogen/antimony free.
The SMBJ64A-13-F is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel, suitable for automated surface mount assembly. It is intended for general purpose circuit protection applications where transient voltage suppression is required.
