The SMBJ60CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse Inc., part of the SMBJ series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from overvoltage transients. The diode offers a reverse standoff voltage of 60V, with a minimum breakdown voltage of 66.7V and a maximum clamping voltage of 96.8V at a peak pulse current of 6.2A (10/1000µs waveform).
With a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W, this device provides robust protection for 60V DC power rails and signal lines. It features a single bidirectional channel, making it suitable for applications where polarity reversal is not a concern.
