The SMBJ58A-TR is a 600W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge.
This device features a reverse standoff voltage of 58V and a clamping voltage of 93.6V, with a peak pulse current rating of 6.7A. The Zener-based TVS diode provides single-channel unidirectional protection and is not intended for power line protection.
