The Vishay Dale SMBJ54A-E3/52 is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a 600W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform and a working voltage of 54V.
This device offers excellent clamping capability with a nominal clamping voltage of 87.1V at 1mA test current. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (TJ) and has a fast response time of less than 1 ps. The SMBJ54A-E3/52 is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits.
Packaged in a DO-214AA (SMB) case, it is suitable for automated placement and surface-mounted applications, optimizing board space. The device is RoHS3 compliant and meets MSL level 1.
