The Vishay Dale SMBJ51CA-E3/52 is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a low profile DO-214AA (SMB) package, making it suitable for automated placement.
This bidirectional TVS diode provides 600W of peak pulse power dissipation with a 10/1000 μs waveform. Its working peak reverse voltage ranges from 5V to 188V, with a breakdown voltage range of 6.4V to 231V. The clamping voltage is rated at 82.4V at 1mA test current.
