The SMBJ45CA is a 600W bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from the Littelfuse SMBJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It provides a clamping voltage of 72.7V and can handle a peak pulse current of 8.3A under 10/1000μs waveform. The device is surface mounted in a compact DO-214AA (SMB) package, suitable for automated assembly.
