The Littelfuse Inc. SMBJ440A is a TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) Diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a 440V reverse standoff voltage and a 713V clamping voltage at peak pulse current.
With a 600W peak pulse power dissipation capability at a 10/1000μs waveform, this diode is suitable for general-purpose applications. It operates within a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is available in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMBJ) package.
The SMBJ series is designed for surface mounted applications to optimize board space and offers excellent clamping capability. It is also RoHS compliant and Halogen free.
