The SMBJ36A-13-F is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 36V and a clamping voltage of 58.1V at a peak pulse current of 10.3A. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W (10/1000μs waveform), it offers robust protection for general-purpose applications. The diode is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with molded plastic case material (UL 94V-0) and matte tin terminals. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and has an MSL of Level 1. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel.
