The SMBJ30A-TR is a 600W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from STMicroelectronics, designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 30V and a clamping voltage of 48.4V at a peak pulse current of 13A. The device uses Zener technology and is unidirectional with a single channel. It is not intended for power line protection. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The SMBJ30A-TR is supplied in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package, suitable for automated assembly.
