The SMBJ30A-TP is a 600W Zener TVS diode from Micro Commercial Co, designed for general purpose overvoltage protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 30V and a maximum clamping voltage of 48.4V at 12.4A peak pulse current. The device is unidirectional with a single channel.
The diode is housed in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package, suitable for automated assembly. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. With fast response time and low inductance, it is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients.
