The SMBJ22A-13-F is a 600W surface mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 22V and a clamping voltage of 35.5V at a peak pulse current of 16.9A. This unidirectional device is designed for general purpose circuit protection applications.
The diode is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin termination finish. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel. The glass passivated die construction ensures reliable performance.
The SMBJ22A-13-F is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free. It is not intended for power line protection. Typical applications include protection of sensitive electronics from voltage transients in consumer, industrial, and telecom systems.
