The Vishay Dale SMBJ20D-M3/H is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode, also known as a TransZorb®. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
This unidirectional TVS diode has a working voltage of 20V and a clamping voltage of 32V. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W with a 10/1000 μs waveform. The device features a very tight VBR tolerance of ±3.5% and low leakage current.
Packaged in a DO-214AA (SMB) package, the SMBJ20D-M3/H is ideal for automated placement. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and the terminals are matte tin plated, solderable per J-STD-002.
