The Micro Commercial SMBJ18CA-TP is a Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for surface mount applications. It offers robust protection with a 600W peak pulse power dissipation capability and a 29.2V clamping voltage at peak pulse current.
This TVS diode operates within a junction temperature range of -55°C to +175°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. It features low inductance and a fast response time, typically less than 1 picosecond from 0V to VBR min.
The SMBJ18CA-TP is supplied in the DO-214AA (SMB) package, optimized for board space. It is rated for a 18V stand-off voltage and a 20.5A peak pulse current. The device is also Halogen Free and Lead Free compliant.
