The SMBJ18A-TR is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It offers an 18V reverse standoff voltage with a clamping voltage of 29.2V at peak pulse current.
With a peak pulse power rating of 600W and a peak pulse current of 21.5A, this diode is suitable for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The device is surface mountable in a DO-214AA (SMB) package, making it easy to integrate into compact designs. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
