The SMBJ17A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. With a 600W peak pulse power capability and reverse standoff voltage of 17V, it provides reliable clamping at 27.6V for 10/1000μs waveforms.
This TVS diode features a fast response time of less than 1.0ps and meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV air and contact. It has low leakage current and low incremental surge resistance, making it suitable for I/O interface and VCC bus protection.
The device is housed in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin lead-free plating. It operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and MSL level 1.
