The SMBJ154A-TR is a unidirectional TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for transient voltage suppression in general-purpose applications. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 154V and a clamping voltage of 246V at a peak pulse current of 2.4A. The device can handle 600W of peak pulse power (10/1000μs waveform).
This Zener-based TVS diode provides protection against voltage transients in a variety of circuits. With a single unidirectional channel, it is suitable for protecting sensitive components on signal or power lines where power line protection is not required. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to 150°C, allowing use in harsh environments.
