The SMBJ14D-M3/H is a surface-mount unidirectional Zener TVS diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600 W for a 10/1000 µs waveform, with a clamping voltage of 22.9 V at a peak pulse current of 26.2 A. The device has a reverse standoff voltage of 14 V and is based on Zener technology for fast response.
This TVS diode is suitable for general-purpose applications including consumer, computer, industrial, and telecommunication equipment. It provides protection against inductive load switching and lighting-induced transients on ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines.
The SMBJ14D-M3/H is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) package with matte tin plated leads, compatible with automated placement. It meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020 and is halogen-free and RoHS-compliant with the M3 suffix. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
