The SMBJ14A-13-F is a 600W surface mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 14V and a maximum clamping voltage of 23.2V at a peak pulse current of 25.8A. The device uses Zener technology and is unidirectional with one channel.
Designed for general purpose applications, this TVS diode provides excellent clamping capability for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It is rated for a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W (non-repetitive current pulse derated above TA=+25°C) and can handle a peak forward surge current of 100A (8.3ms single half sine wave).
The SMBJ14A-13-F is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with molded plastic case material (UL 94V-0). It has matte tin termination finish and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 3000 pieces. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and has a storage temperature range of -55°C to +175°C.
