The SMBJ14A is a 600W peak pulse power unidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a clamping voltage of 23.2V and can handle peak pulse currents up to 25.9A under 10/1000μs waveform.
The device exhibits fast response time typically less than 1.0ps and low incremental surge resistance. It provides ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2 and EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-4.
The SMBJ14A is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package with matte tin lead-free plating. It is RoHS compliant, halogen free, and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
