The Littelfuse SMBJ130CA is a 600W bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 130V and a clamping voltage of 209V at a peak pulse current of 2.9A.
This TVS diode offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W for a 10/1000μs waveform and a peak forward surge current of 100A for an 8.3ms single half sine wave. It has a typical response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to the minimum breakdown voltage, providing fast protection against fast-rising transients.
The device is housed in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with a matte tin lead-free terminal finish. It is designed for general purpose applications and is suitable for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.
