The Vishay Dale SMBJ12CD-M3/I is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
This device features a 600W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform. It has a working voltage range of 5V to 120V (bidirectional) and a breakdown voltage range of 6.5V to 145V (bidirectional). The clamping voltage is 19.6V at a peak pulse current of 30.6A.
Packaged in a DO-214AA (SMB) case, this diode is ideal for automated placement.
