The Vishay Dale SMBG15CA-E3/5B is a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronics. It features a low profile package ideal for automated placement and offers 600 W of peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform.
This device provides excellent clamping capability and a very fast response time, making it suitable for protecting against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
