The SMAJ8.0A is a 400W unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 8V and a maximum clamping voltage of 13.6V at a peak pulse current of 29.4A.
This Zener-based TVS diode is housed in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package and is suitable for general purpose applications. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is supplied with a matte tin, lead-free plated termination finish.
