The SMAJ64CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse's SMAJ series, designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It offers a reverse standoff voltage (VRWM) of 64V and a maximum clamping voltage of 103V at a peak pulse current of 3.9A (10/1000µs waveform), delivering a minimum peak pulse power of 400W.
This device features IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) and a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps. It is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
The SMAJ64CA is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus protection, and other circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and lead-free (Pb-free E3) with MSL Level 1.
