The SMAJ58A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Würth Elektronik, designed for general purpose surge protection in electronic circuits. It provides a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W (10/1000µs waveform) with a reverse standoff voltage of 58V and a clamping voltage of 93.6V at a peak pulse current of 4.3A. The device is rated for unidirectional operation and is not intended for power line protection.
