The SMAJ5.0A-13-F is a 400W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It offers a clamping voltage of 9.2V and a peak pulse current of 43.5A, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. The device is unidirectional with a single channel and features a fast response time.
This TVS diode is designed for general purpose applications and is constructed with a glass passivated die for enhanced reliability. It is housed in a surface mount SMA package (DO-214AC) with a molded plastic case rated UL 94V-0. The terminals have a matte tin finish, solderable per MIL-STD-202 Method 208.
The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The part is RoHS3 compliant and halogen and antimony free, meeting environmental standards. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a quantity of 5000 pieces per reel.
