SMAJ48A

The SMAJ48A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 48V, a clamping voltage of 77.4V at a peak pulse current of 5.2A, and a peak pulse power rating of 400W (10/1000μs waveform). The device uses Zener technology and offers a fast response time of less than 1.0ps. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is packaged in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package. The SMAJ48A is ideal for protecting I/O interfaces, Vcc bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer applications. It also provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 (30kV air/contact) and EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-4.
