STMicroelectronics SMAJ43CA-TR is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a maximum clamping voltage of 91V and is rated for 400W peak pulse power dissipation under 8/20µs waveform conditions, with a peak pulse current capability of 25A.
This diode is constructed using Zener technology and is configured as a single bidirectional channel, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage transients on signal or power lines. The device does not include internal power line protection, so it is intended for secondary or parallel protection schemes.
Packaged in a standard DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount case, the SMAJ43CA-TR is compatible with automated assembly processes and offers unlimited moisture sensitivity level (MSL 1).
