The SMAJ36A-13-F is a 36V unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. Designed for general purpose circuit protection, it provides 400W of peak pulse power dissipation (10/1000μs waveform) with a clamping voltage of 58.1V and a peak pulse current rating of 6.9A. The device features fast response time and glass passivated die construction for reliable overvoltage protection.
Housed in a surface-mount DO-214AC (SMA) package, the SMAJ36A-13-F is suitable for automated assembly. The package is molded from UL 94V-0 rated plastic and has moisture sensitivity level 1 (unlimited floor life). The device is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free (green), and features a lead-free matte tin finish that is solderable per MIL-STD-202.
Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, this TVS diode is ideal for general purpose applications requiring protection from voltage transients. Its unidirectional configuration makes it suitable for DC lines and signal interfaces where polarity is fixed. The part is available in tape and reel packaging with 5000 units per reel.
