The SMAJ36A is a 400W transient voltage suppressor diode from Littelfuse Inc. It is designed for general purpose surge and ESD protection in electronic circuits. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 36V and a clamping voltage of 58.1V at a peak pulse current of 6.9A.
With a peak pulse power rating of 400W (10/1000μs waveform), it provides effective protection against voltage transients. The unidirectional Zener technology offers a fast response time. Operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C (junction).
The SMAJ36A is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with J-bend terminals. It is RoHS3 compliant and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 (unlimited). The device is suitable for automated assembly.
