The SMAJ33CA-TR is a bidirectional Zener-type TVS diode from STMicroelectronics designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 33V and a maximum clamping voltage of 69.7V at a peak pulse current of 33A (8/20µs waveform). The device can dissipate up to 400W of peak pulse power, making it suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage spikes. It is not intended for power line protection. The diode is surface mountable in a DO-214AC (SMA) package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. It is a single bidirectional channel device.
