The SMAJ30CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Würth Elektronik. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients induced by lightning, inductive load switching, and electrostatic discharge. Key electrical specifications include a reverse standoff voltage of 30 V, a breakdown voltage of 35.05 V ±5% at 1 mA, and a maximum clamping voltage of 48.4 V at the peak pulse current of 8.3 A (10/1000 µs waveform).
