The Diodes Incorporated SMAJ28CAQ-13-F is a 400W surface-mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode. It is specifically designed to protect sensitive automotive circuits against surges defined in ISO7637-2 and electrostatic discharges according to ISO10605.
This TVS diode offers a 28V standoff voltage and a 45.4V breakdown voltage, with a clamping voltage of 45.4V. It can handle a peak surge current of 40A and has a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W. The device operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C (TJ).
Constructed with glass passivated die, the SMAJ28CAQ-13-F is available in uni-directional and bi-directional versions. It comes in a compact DO-214AC, SMA package, suitable for surface mounting.
