SMAJ28A

The SMAJ28A is a 400W transient voltage suppressor diode from Bourns, part of the SMAJ series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning, ESD, and other surge events. This unidirectional device offers a reverse standoff voltage of 28V and a clamping voltage of 45.4V, ensuring reliable clamping of overvoltage conditions.

Key electrical specifications include a peak pulse current of 8.8A (10/1000μs waveform) and a peak forward surge current of 40A (8.3ms single half sine wave).
