The SMAJ26A-13-F is a 400W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression in surface mount applications. The device has a reverse standoff voltage of 26V and a maximum clamping voltage of 42.1V at a peak pulse current of 9.5A (10/1000μs waveform). As a unidirectional zener TVS, it provides fast response and excellent clamping capability.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package, suitable for automated assembly. It supports an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The part is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 per J-STD-020. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 5000 units per reel.
Typical applications include protection of sensitive electronics from voltage spikes in consumer, industrial, and communication equipment. The compact SMA package allows for high-density board designs.
