The SMAJ24A-TR is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 24V and a maximum clamping voltage of 50V, ensuring reliable clamping during surge events.
With a peak pulse current rating of 46A (8/20µs) and a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W, this diode provides robust transient suppression. It is not intended for power line protection and is suited for general purpose applications.
The device is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, enabling compact PCB designs. It operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
