The SMAJ20CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse designed for general purpose transient voltage suppression. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 20 V and a maximum clamping voltage of 32.4 V at a peak pulse current of 12.3 A. The device delivers a minimum peak pulse power of 400 W for a 1 ms pulse.
This TVS diode is housed in a compact DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly. It operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to +150°C. The bidirectional configuration protects circuits from voltage transients in both directions.
