The SMAJ20CA-13-F from Diodes Incorporated is a 400W bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for general purpose circuit protection. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 20V and a clamping voltage of 32.4V at a peak pulse current of 12.3A. The device is rated for a peak pulse power of 400W (10/1000μs waveform) and can handle a peak forward surge current of 40A (8.3ms single half sine wave).
This TVS diode utilizes a glass passivated Zener die construction for excellent clamping capability and fast response time. It is available in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package with matte tin plated terminals, making it suitable for automated assembly. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C (junction).
The SMAJ20CA-13-F is compliant with RoHS3, REACH, and is halogen- and antimony-free (Green). The molded plastic case meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating. Moisture sensitivity is level 1 per J-STD-020. Packaged in tape and reel with a standard quantity of 5000 pieces per reel.
