The SMAJ20A-13-F is a 400W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor diode manufactured by Diodes Incorporated. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 20V and a clamping voltage of 32.4V at a peak pulse current of 12.3A (10/1000µs). This unidirectional device is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients caused by lightning, inductive load switching, and ESD events.
With a glass passivated die construction, the SMAJ20A-13-F offers excellent clamping capability and fast response time. It is available in a standard DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package, making it suitable for automated assembly. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and has a peak forward surge current rating of 40A (8.3ms single half sine wave).
The SMAJ20A-13-F is RoHS3 compliant, lead-free, halogen and antimony free, and has an MSL rating of Level 1 per J-STD-020. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 5000 units per reel, ideal for high-volume production.
