The SMAJ160A is a 400W peak pulse power TVS diode from the Littelfuse SMAJ series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. Key specifications include a clamping voltage of 259V, peak pulse current of 1.5A, and a fast response time of less than 1ps. The device is unidirectional with a single channel. It offers ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
