The SMAJ150CA-13-F is a 400W surface mount transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for general purpose protection against voltage transients in electronic circuits.
With a reverse standoff voltage of 150V and a clamping voltage of 243V, it can handle peak pulse currents up to 1.6A (non-repetitive, TA=+25°C). The device is bidirectional, providing protection for both positive and negative transients.
The TVS diode is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package and is rated for operation from -55°C to 150°C. It is RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free, making it suitable for environmentally conscious designs.
