The SMAJ14A-13-F is a 400W transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surface mount applications. It provides unidirectional protection with a reverse standoff voltage of 14V and a maximum clamping voltage of 23.2V at a peak pulse current of 17.2A. The device features a glass passivated die construction for reliable performance and fast response time. It is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package with molded plastic case material rated UL 94V-0. The terminals are lead-free plated with matte tin finish. The device is RoHS3 compliant and halogen-free. Typical applications include general purpose circuit protection in consumer, industrial, and automotive electronics (when using automotive-qualified variants). The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
