The SMAJ130A is a 400W peak pulse power unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, part of the SMAJ series. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 130V and a maximum clamping voltage of 209V at 1.9A peak pulse current (10/1000μs waveform). The device is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events.
This TVS diode offers a fast response time of typically less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown, and provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 (30kV air/contact). It is housed in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package suitable for compact PCB layouts. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
Typical applications include I/O interface protection, VCC bus protection, and general purpose circuit protection in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The device is unidirectional with a single zener-type channel and does not provide power line protection.
