The SMAJ110CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 110V and a maximum clamping voltage of 177V. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W (10/1000µs waveform) and a peak pulse current of 2.3A, it provides robust protection for general purpose applications. The device is surface mount in a DO-214AC (SMA) package and operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. It is RoHS3 compliant and REACH unaffected (unverified).
The SMAJ series is designed for I/O interface, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The device offers fast response time typically less than 1.0ps and glass passivated junction for reliability. It does not include power line protection.
