SMAJ10A

The SMAJ10A is a 400W peak pulse power TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 10V and a clamping voltage of 17V at a peak pulse current of 23.5A (10/1000µs waveform). The device uses Zener technology with a single unidirectional channel, providing fast response time typically less than 1.0ps.\n\nThe diode offers excellent clamping capability and low leakage current. It is rated for operating temperatures from -65°C to 150°C and is RoHS compliant and halogen free. The surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package enables compact PCB layout.\n\nTypical applications include protection of I/O interfaces, Vcc bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The part also provides ESD protection per IEC 61000-4-2 and EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-4.
